WHEATON, Md. (WUSA9) -- Montgomery County police are looking for a suspect in connection with an attempted sex assault in the Wheaton Metro parking garage.

Around 9 p.m. Monday, a 33-year-old woman was opening her car door in the garage, located at 11010 Veirs Mill Road, when the suspect approached her, according to police.

He was holding a gun to his side and demanded that the woman follow him and perform a sex act, police said. When the victim refused, the suspect fled the scene. That's when the victim got into her call, left the garage and called police.

The suspect is described as a black male in his teens, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a gun.
