Immediately following his participation in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the next leg of the Intercounty Connector (ICC) connecting I-370 to I-95, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will travel a few minutes away to host a press conference in strong support of another project just as vital to the ongoing redevelopment efforts taking place along the Route 29 Corridor in the East County – Washington Adventist Hospital’s planned relocation to White Oak. Leggett will highlight the many economic, health, and spin-off benefits of this important project.
Montgomery County Council President Valerie Ervin and Kim Bobola, a long-time East County activist and former member of the East County Citizens Advisory Board, will also make brief remarks.
